Health and Safety Authority

The Health and Safety Authority is responsible for the promotion and enforcement of workplace health and safety in Ireland. The authority monitors compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and takes enforcement action where necessary.It is an expert centre for information and advice to employers, employees and self-employed and it promotes education, training and research.
